IIM Bodh Gaya, one of the newest IIMs, was established in 2015. It is one of the most prestigious institutes in the country, currently being mentored by IIM Calcutta. The institute is located in Prabandh Vihar, Bodh Gaya, Bihar.
The institute is a member of prestigious organisations like the Business Education Alliance, the Business Graduates Association, and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Admission Process & Cutoffs 2025
MBA, MBA-DBM, & MBA-HHM Admissions
The admission process for the two-year MBA programs is a multi-stage process designed to select the most promising candidates.
- CAT Examination: Candidates must appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 and achieve the minimum required percentile scores.
- Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI): Candidates are shortlisted for the PI process through two channels based on their CAT scores.
- Final Merit List Calculation: The final selection is based on a composite score calculated with the following weights:
- CAT Score: 45%
- Personal Appearance (PI + WAT): 25%
- Profile (Academics, Work Ex, etc.): 30%
- Offer Acceptance: Selected candidates first pay an Expression of Interest (EoI) fee of ₹20,000. Upon receiving a final offer, an Offer Acceptance Amount of ₹80,000 is required to confirm the seat. Both amounts are adjusted against the Term I fee.

IPM (Integrated Program in Management) Admissions
Admission to the five-year residential IPM program (BBA + MBA) is conducted through the JIPMAT exam.
- Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Class 10th & 12th with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender).
- JIPMAT 2025: Candidates must appear for the Joint IPM Admission Test (JIPMAT) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- Merit List Preparation: A merit list is prepared based solely on the JIPMAT 2025 scores. Candidates must clear a minimum sectional percentile of 30 to be eligible. The final offers are made based on the overall score cutoffs.
- Offer Acceptance: Candidates receiving a provisional offer must deposit an EoI Fee of ₹15,000 to express interest. To accept the offer, a fee of ₹60,000 is required, which is adjusted against the first semester fees.
Fee Structure (2025-27)
The total fee for the MBA program is ₹17.96 Lakhs, and for the MBA-DBM and MBA-HHM programs, it is ₹16.70 Lakhs. Below is the term-wise breakdown.
