About the College
Nitishwar Mahavidyalaya, Muzaffarpur, was established in 1970 by the late Nitishwar Prasad Singh, a freedom fighter and popular leader. Situated in the heart of the town, it is a constituent unit of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), Muzaffarpur.
The college was founded with a vision to motivate people towards literary and academic creativity. The campus also houses the 'Suhrid Sangh', a testament to the founder's creative endeavors. Every year on 6th February, the college observes "Nitishwar Punya Smriti Diwas" to pay tribute to its founder and recharge itself with his ideals.
Our mission is to ensure the personality and enlightened development of the younger generation, building them into ideal assets for the nation through comprehensive education.
