About the University
Nalanda University is an international, research-intensive, postgraduate university located in the historical city of Rajgir, Bihar. It is inspired by the academic excellence of ancient Nalanda Mahavihara. The university is a collaborative effort between India and the member countries of the East Asia Summit.
The university is dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge in a holistic and interdisciplinary manner, attracting students and faculty from around the world to foster a vibrant international community of learning.

| MA in Historical Studies | Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 55% marks or 2.2/4.0 GPA. |
| MA in World Literature | Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Preference for candidates with a background in Literature, Languages, or Humanities. |
| MA/MSc in Ecology & Environment Studies | Bachelor's degree (3/4/5 years) in Science, Engineering, Forestry, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Economics, Geography, or related fields with at least 55% marks. |
| MBA in Sustainable Development and Management | Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks. A valid score in CAT/XAT/MAT is required. Work experience is preferred but not mandatory. |
| All PhD Programmes | Master's Degree or M.Phil in a relevant discipline with at least 65% marks or 3.0/4.0 GPA. Candidates must submit a detailed research proposal. |
*A 5% relaxation in marks is applicable for candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) as per Government of India rules.
