About the College
Nalanda College of Horticulture (NCOH) is situated at Noorsarai, Nalanda on 21 acres of land. The district of Nalanda is famous worldwide for the ancient International Monastic University established in the 5th Century BC. Visualizing the importance of Nalanda district in agriculture, especially horticulture, NCOH was established to meet educational, research, and extension needs in the sector.
The college was inaugurated on 14th August 2006 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar, Sri Nitish Kumar. Initially under Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa, it was shifted to the newly formed Bihar Agricultural University (BAU), Sabour, on 5th August 2010.
