Fee Structure
The fee structure is determined by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Payments are to be made quarterly (April, July, October, January) via UBI Portal.

- Tuition Fee Exemption: No tuition fee for Girls (Class I-XII), SC/ST students, and children of KVS employees.
- VVN: Applicable to all students from Class I to XII.
- Emergency Assistance: Exemption available for children whose parents were killed or disabled in wars/counter-insurgency.
Admission Process
KV admissions can be complex. We have simplified the process based on the class you are applying for. Please find your category below.
Class 1 Admission
Method: Online Lottery
- ➤ Mode: Strictly Online via KVS Online Portal.
- ➤ Age Criteria: Child must be 6 years old as of 31st March.
- ➤ Selection: Lottery system based on Priority Categories (Govt employees first).
- ➤ RTE: 25% seats reserved for RTE (Right to Education).
Class 2 to Class 8
Method: Priority Category (No Test)
- ➤ Mode: Offline registration (subject to vacancy).
- ➤ Selection: Strictly based on Priority Category (Cat-1 Central Govt > Cat-2 > State Govt...).
- ➤ Test: No admission test is conducted for these classes.
Class 9 Admission
Method: Admission Test
- ➤ Requirement: An admission test is conducted by the Vidyalaya.
- ➤ Syllabus: Subjects include Hindi, English, Maths, Science, and Social Science (Class 8 level).
- ➤ Merit: Admission is granted based on merit in the test + priority category.
Class 11 Admission
Method: Class 10 Marks
- ➤ For KV Students: Admission is guaranteed for own KV students passing Class 10.
- ➤ For Non-KV: Admitted only if seats remain vacant after accommodating KV students.
- ➤ Streams: Science/Commerce allotted based on Class 10 aggregate marks.
