About the College
Jagadish Nandan College (JNC) was established in 1959 at Baboobarhi in the Madhubani district of Bihar. The establishment was prompted by an earnest desire to open up opportunities for higher education for meritorious students in the rural hinterland.
To fulfil its objectives in more congenial surroundings, the college shifted to the district headquarters at Madhubani in 1962. Since then, the institution has blossomed into a prestigious Constituent Unit of L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga.
Presently, JNC is a co-educational institution imparting education up to graduation level in Science, Humanities, Social Science, and Commerce streams. The college is famed for nurturing student talent and preparing them to meet daily challenges successfully.

Admission to various courses is done strictly on a merit basis.
