Legacy & History
The Institute was established on 1st August 1946 in Begusarai city. It was founded by the visionary social worker and landlord, Late Ayodhya Prasad Singh, who generously donated vast land to serve the cause of Ayurveda.
Initially a private college, it was taken over by the Government of Bihar on 25th May 1977. Since then, it has been running as a premier government institute known as Govt. Ayodhya Shivkumari Ayurved College & Hospital.
The college has been served by legends in Ayurveda like Dr. Sukhdev Sharma and Dr. Ram Raksha Pathak. Alumni of this institute have served in prestigious positions, including Health Advisor to the Govt. of India.

Admission Process
Entrance Exam (NEET-UG)
Candidates must apply for and qualify the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by NTA.
BCECEB Counseling
State counseling is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board based on NEET Merit.
Seat Allotment
Seats are allotted to GASACH, Begusarai based on rank and category reservation.
Document Verification
Reporting to college with original documents and admission fee.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
- Minimum Marks: 50% (Gen) / 40% (Reserved) in PCB.
- Age Limit: Minimum 17 years. Max 20-24 years.
