Admission Process & Documents
How to Get Admission?
- Qualify NEET (UG): Secure a valid rank in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
- Register for Counselling: Participate in the online counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota/IP Quota or Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) for State Quota.
- Choice Filling: Select ESIC Medical College, Bihta as your preferred choice during the choice filling process.
- Seat Allotment: Based on your NEET rank, category, and choices, a seat will be provisionally allotted.
- Reporting to College: Report to the Admission Cell at ESIC Medical College, Bihta on the specified date with all required original documents and fees to confirm your admission.

Important Admission Instructions
Reporting & Timelines
- Students must report to the Admission Cell, Office of Academic Registrar, Ground Floor, Medical College Building.
- Reporting must be done on or before the date mentioned in the selection letter, by 09:30 AM. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of admission.
- Admission timings are Monday to Friday (09:00 AM - 03:00 PM) and Saturday (09:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- The admission process may take more than one day, so outstation candidates should plan their stay accordingly.
Required Accompaniment
- At least one Parent/Guardian must accompany the student during admission, as their signature is required on several documents.
- For ESIC (IP Quota) candidates, the Insured Person (ESIC Card Holder) must be present at the time of admission.
Mandatory Service Bond
- All students are required to submit an ESIC Discontinuation & Service Bond for 1 year.
- The bond value is ₹ 5,00,000 (Rupees Five Lakhs).
- It must be a notarized bond executed on a Non-Judicial Bond paper of ₹ 100 from the Patna Jurisdiction.
Seat Surrender/Upgradation Policy
- If a candidate resigns or withdraws the seat after the stipulated time, 10% of the Tuition Fee will be deducted.
- For AIQ & State Quota, this amounts to ₹10,000, and for ESIC IP Quota, it is ₹2,400.
Hostel Information
- Single rooms are not available for boys or girls.
- Girls will be allotted double sharing rooms.
- Depending on availability and distance from home, some boys may be allotted triple-sharing rooms.
