About DMI
Development Management Institute (DMI) was established on February 13, 2014, pursuant to a desire of the Government of Bihar to establish a High Performing Knowledge Institution (HPKI). DMI believes that the livelihoods of small producers and marginalised people can be enhanced by organising them to form democratically governed institutions.
Inspired by the growing need for Development Management Professionals, DMI functions as an autonomous institution. The institute aims to empower rural India by building enduring partnerships between professionals and collectives, leveraging technology and market integration for social good.
The institute offers a fully residential two-year Post-Graduate Programme in Development Management (PGDM), focusing on praxis-oriented interactive learning facilitated by a faculty team of career academics and practitioners.
