About DMCH
Established in 1946, Darbhanga Medical College (DMCH) has a rich legacy. The college was built through the efforts of King Rameshwar Singh of the Khandavala Dynasty. Originally envisioned as the 'Temple of Medical Learning' in Patna, it was shifted to Darbhanga upon the Maharaja's proposal to the Prince of Wales in 1925.
The Raj family donated 300 acres of prime land for the campus. Today, DMCH is a government-run institution providing tertiary care to Darbhanga and neighboring districts, offering undergraduate (MBBS), postgraduate (MD/MS), and diploma courses.

Admission & Reporting Documents
Reporting Process
Candidates allotted seats through All India Quota (AIQ) or State Quota must report offline to the Principal's Office, DMCH.
- Fill up the admission form available at the college.
- Attach all essential original certificates + 1 Self-Attested Photocopy.
- Submit affidavit in original.
- Verification of documents by authority.
- Deposit the fee after verification.
- Hostel allotment (subject to availability).
Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) & English.
Gen: 50% Marks | Reserved: 40% Marks.
