C. M. Science College was founded during the colonial period in the year 1938. Over time, it has become one of the premier educational institutes in the field of science education. During its academic and administrative voyage, it achieved many milestones and proved its worth in imparting quality education across India and parts of Nepal.
It is the only college of L. N. Mithila University, Darbhanga which has been accredited with 'A' grade, a historic achievement in its journey. The college spans a five-acre campus equipped with modern amenities and is pursued by more than 1500 students.
