About the College
Braj Mohan Das College (BMD College) was established in 1968 in the rural district of Vaishali. Founded with the vision to fulfill the aspirations of the local population—mostly from backward and deprived sections—the college has been a beacon of higher education for over five decades.
Starting as an affiliated unit in 1973, it progressed to become a Constituent Unit of BRA Bihar University, Muzaffarpur in 1980. The college has gradually developed a sound infrastructure to meet modern requirements, boasting a rich library, well-equipped science labs, an organized computer center, and hostels.
