Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University (BNMU), established on January 10, 1992, is a state university located in Madhepura, Bihar. Named after the great socialist leader, the university's territorial jurisdiction extends over Madhepura, Saharsa, and Supaul districts, also serving students from neighboring Nepal.

Recognized under 12(B) and 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, and a member of the AIU, BNMU offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs. It acts as a major affiliating institution for numerous colleges, including medical and technical institutes, across the region.

Student-Friendly Refunds for 2024-25

  • 100% Refund: Full fee refund for all admission cancellations/migrations submitted up to 30th September 2024.
  • Partial Refund: Refund with a maximum deduction of ₹1,000 (as processing fee) for requests up to 31st October 2024.
