About the College
J.S. College, Chandauli (Jagannath Singh College) was established in 1959 with the primary objective of imparting education up to the graduation standard to the students of the rural and backward areas of the old Muzaffarpur District (now Sitamarhi).
It was granted affiliation on 07.04.1959 in the Faculty of Arts up to B.A. standard by Bihar University, Patna. Today, it stands as a Constituent Unit of B. R. A. Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, imparting Under-Graduate teaching in both the Faculty of Arts and Science.
