About SKMCH
Established in 1970 by the "Vaishali Shiksha Pratisthan," Sri Krishna Medical College (SKMCH) began with a vision to spread professional medical education in Bihar. The college was taken over by the State Government on 1st October 1979.
Located 2km from Zero Mile on the Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi road in Umanagar, the campus spans over sprawling acres. It is fully recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) (formerly MCI) and serves as a major healthcare hub for North Bihar.
